Belbroughton Tennis Club has recently acquired the services of Nigel Hunter to help fulfil club ambitions and raise standards of tennis at the club. His appointment as Head Coach will be just at the right time with the summer season fast approaching. Nigel has a wealth of experience in tennis including playing full-time, coaching all levels up to and including international players as well as managing facilities. He is moving to the club as a secondary appointment with his base being Evesham Rowing Club. His previous position was based at the Next Generation Club – West Midlands, where he managed the programme with over 380 junior playing and a comprehensive programme. The club are delighted to have appointed such an experienced coach and manager with a proven track record. The club is looking forward to some exciting times ahead.

Nigel Hunter adds, "I see Belbroughton as a club full of potential and am really excited about creating the right environment at the club for players of all standards improving. I have created a good tennis environment at each venue I have been at so far and see this club as no different to my previous roles. I have built my previous success on being specific, working players hard and making sure they are enjoying it. I am confident it won’t be long until we start to go places at this club".

Nigel will be managing the programme with Junior Performance coaching taking place on a Tuesday evening which he will personally oversee. The other coaching at varying times during the week will be run by his experienced team of coaches from around the local area. The programme will kick-off after the next school half-term and will  give you a chance to meet the coaches.
